Anyways, Hitting the gym in about an hour Shooting for 200 on leg extensions, 140 for leg curls, 160 on bench, and BW +15 on pull ups. Forgot to mention I hit my 300 deadlift goal. Now onto 400. I also know I can bench my body weight now, I just actually have to do it. 150 for shoulder press is going to be hard, but I'll be damned if I don't get it. 45 pounds away. Not too sure about my 300 lb squat. Since I can't squat for so long, I'm missing out on some valuable time :\ damn. I'm sure I'll get it since I was at 235 x 5 x 3 before I stopped. Edit: Hell yeah, down to 179 pounds. 11 pounds lost on this cut, 5 more to go. | ||

the "Program" reads like this: Week A Day 1 Squat 3x5 Bench press 3x5 Chin-ups: 3 sets, weight added so failure occurs at 5 to 7 reps Day 2 Front Squat 3x5 OR Light Squat 2x5 (80% 5RM) Press 3x5 Deadlift 1x5 Day 3 Squat 3x5 Bench press 3x5 Pull-ups: 3 sets to failure, unweighted Week B Day 1 Squat 3x5 Press 3x5 Chin-ups: 3 sets to failure, unweighted Day 2 Front Squat 3x5 OR Light Squat 2x5 (80% 5RM) Bench press 3x5 Power clean 5x3 Day 3 Squat 3x5 Press 3x5 Pull-ups: 3 sets, weight added so failure occurs at 5 to 7 reps can I like, throw a couple of C&J's, Deadlift sessions and maybe snatches (if I learn them) in there? real quesiton is, where and how? .thanks!. Eshlow/whoever else, is it even feasible for me to put on a solid 15-20 pounds over the next 4 months or so while oly lifting/doing cardio to stay in shape for summer rugby shit? I'm hoping i'll be able to throw back ~5000 cals a day and workout 3-5 days a week. Need to start making some sort of routine. Mostly cant wait to get in the swing of working + working out + rugby + eating healthy. Feels so much better when body is operating at 100% instead of 80% Also have the state olympic lifting meet coming up in 3 weeks! Good work! You definitely have room to improve a lot, i would not be surprised if you put up considerably more weight with some form work. Get that bar closer to your body and extend your hips through on the second pull. The jerk was basically a bush press, explode up and then drop under it and lock it out and you can do a ton more weight. Oh and preferably don't do oly lifts in a cage lol. | ||
