I think the Arsenal modifier was a good idea in theory but it absolutely sucks to play with when you NEED power weapons in certain spots to kill yellow bars before they kill you. It's also killed the Warlock class for these raids with this modifier because their best exotic is useless. I like the loadout restrictions but they should have had a couple options for each slot instead of being as restrictive as it is. Grenade Launchers are AWFUL. Not fun to play with. Not good for boss DPS. It might not be so bad with other loadouts but Bungie have proven that they can't be trusted to pick good loadouts. This first week loadout is literally some of the worst possible choices for every slot. I like the difficulty actually, but they've gone a little too far in making it just too tedious. It's too easy to die if you get unlucky. Yea I basically agree with everything you said. I like difficulty, but I dislike tedious difficulty. I dislike when games start limiting choices from me. Grenade launchers are a joke PvE. There's absolutely no reason to use them, and this mechanic shows exactly why. Way to go bungie for highlighting their own faults, I guess? I think the idea is interesting, but the game balance is not in the right place for it to actually feel good or rewarding. Speaking of, rewards in Destiny 2 suck. If this was in a better place also, then doing these higher level challenges would at least reward you with something. Sadly, it's definitely not in a good place either. SMGs also could use a lot of help in Destiny 2, but they are at least in a better place than nade launchers. As for raids within Destiny 2, I think they are actually the best part of the Destiny franchise. Only reason I play is for the raids. They are the most interesting part of the game, and it's a shame other parts of the game aren't as well developed | ||

Also it's Monday... this feels fitting with the times, and I just saw these guys on Friday so... These guys were my favorite back in the day. 12 years since I saw them touring with Alexisonfire. Holy I'm old. | ||
