I think a mid range deck would be ideal for it.

I'd rather play vs any deck in the game than a mage with freeze. Need hero bans in ranked play.

I am kind of miffed that I never opened a single rogue epic or legendary though. I really want Valeera the Hollow and Doomerang.

They're killing diversity for Brode's sake! I thought the Horsemen worked like the totems where you summon one that you don't have yet? Or do you mean that you get duplicates after you bounce them (which is likely to happen since it only checks the board)?

They're killing diversity for Brode's sake! Eh Jade literally has a hard counter for going infinite now, so thats not really an excuse anymore run geist if you want fatigue to pressure them. Jade is obnoxious, but only so much as auctioneer plus innervate and wild growth are really efficient. I know you are being sarcastic though. Ugh i wouldnt even complain about make if all their stuff was statted in a reasonable manner. Why do they get 5/4 elementals that spawn cards that spawn cards? why do they get 3/6 bodies that freeze anything they touch, why a 1/3 that grows for 1. Shimmering tempest is a good example of how mage cards are still super strong even when statted poorly. Why does coldwraith need to be one of the strongest 3 cost minions in the game, it's not like freezing a character is hard to do. Though a lot of issues with mage would be different if counterspell wasn't exclusively a mage thing.

Tempo-ing people with counterspells feels so dumb tho. Not even smart, just slamming it and enjoying how hugely ahead it puts you. On the other hand, seeing a shaman play quest on turn 1 and slamming the counterspell knowing they'll obviously have their fin-ishers on curve t4 is very satisfying. Get fucked, you braindead murloc scum!

Counterspell makes me want to not mull my quest just to spend it for counterspell in mage matchups, but then i get blown out by combo mage or freeze mage for having a super slow starting hand.

I don't really care about shaman/warrior dks, the evolve mechanic has never been something I particularly liked about shaman, but at least with the paladin DK I can try exodia shennanigans with brewmaster to protect the horsemen. I have to do some proper tests but it really feels to me like summoning the horsemen is not as random as totems... it should only be 3/8ths chance of never repeating a horsemen (given that I'm brewing them back to my hand) but it's happening a lot more frequently than that. I am kind of miffed that I never opened a single rogue epic or legendary though. I really want Valeera the Hollow and Doomerang. I've got Valeera, but don't know what a decent deck would look like. Haven't seen anything that seems particularly compelling.

There is a tempo rogue going around with shera and valeera, Firebat has also been running an aggro rogue with weapons and doomerang, that runs valeera only to evis or cold blood finisher.
