Holy fuck I'm impressed with Mazda's customer support. That is actually unreal to me... my car is 12 years old abd they stopped producing it in 2012.
Like Jesus. Can you imagine Ford doing a blanket replacement recall on a car from 2006 today? O.o
Regardless if they pump out another rotary or not, I think Mazda has me hooked for life. Like 3.5k USD worth of repairs and maintenance for free on a 12 year old car this year. Unbelievable.
I love my 2014 Mazda3. I'm also really impressed with their customer service. I'd never really ridden in a Mazda but ended up there cuz it was one of the few standard transmission cars I could find reasonably within my price range. Didn't even bother test driving anything else.

I'm speechless. A replacement recall on a 12 year old car just seems genuinely absurd for most businesses. And Mazda has no problem doing it.
Most of these guys want nothing more than the best profit possible this quarter and Mazda is doing 3500 USD worth of work on 190000 cars they stopped producing in 2012. That's more than half a billion dollars.
Incredible.

I have a mazda protege 5, it's been a stud for 15 years and still has 0 issues. It's pretty much a fantastic car.

Also you want a horseshit game? Try Jungle Book.

Relatively speaking compared to most cars I've had lots of trouble but rotaries are a different breed. ♡
The fact that only Mazda has made a rotary a production car has always had my mech eng ass a huge fanboy (loved the concept and the uniqueness since I was conscious of what they are.), but they care too.
Part of me hopes they are developing an RX9 and that's where all these recalls are from, the re-engineering of the whole product. But either way it's cool as hell. I don't think Mazda has made any realmoney on rotaries long term, but i think they are passionate about em. Supposedly they gave a team of 30 guys in their rotary product dev team. ♡

Even if you want those games legitimately on new hardware, 3/4 of them are on N3DS VC, and all of them will be on the Switch VC (and are on the Wii U VC if you own one).
Kinda with Gahlo on this one, the NES classic didn't seem worth it, and this doesn't either.

Argument is irrelevant anyway, I'm not getting one

Given that I had a Game Boy long before I had a console of any type regardless, my answer would be the 2DS.

Slow down buddy, it is kinda greedy to buy out Nintendo's entire production run.

Yeah but that also means Higan is most power-demanding (I get framedrops and frameskips on my pc) and has noticeable input lag. Its years ahead of contemporaries but regardless, perfect emulation is enough of a reason for me to get a reasonably priced and convienient piece of hardware.

Yep.
But I'm a nintendo fan boy. You can't talk rational to me. It is the best thing ever made ever in the history of earth. You should also, buy 12.

I got retropie installed on my rasberry. It's fine... until you try to play with 2+ players.. Then it's sad lol

I went to a party where everybody got drunk and huddled around one of those mini NES things and I have to say it was super fun. Emulators also fun but having the little console definitely improved the dorkiness of the experience to dorkenlightenment levels.
|
Late to the party but I had a comment on the steamlink convo. I have one too and it completely replaced my need for a chromecast device so and use it to watch shit on my pc all day. and its USUALLY okay on wifi but not always which is frustrating when its laggy so if i want to sit down for a real gaming sesh Ill usually feed my wire down the hallway too it. I tried to feed that wire through the attic but that did not go well maybe once I get my next place or if i can ever buy a home I can get more creative.
Have any of you guys tried ethernet over powerlines?

In general, consoles are better when you have a bunch of people all in one place. The biggest reason I stopped caring about and buying consoles post-College is because I realized I was no longer in a place where I was playing games with people in close physical proximity.

This is one of the reasons why I like Nintendo, local multiplayer has always been a thing for them.
