Instead playing PUBG for a stressful game, I restarted Darkest Dungeon now that the Vampire DLC is out. That game is still cool. Looking forward to that DLC content (also the Antiquarian that I never played before I beat it). That being said, even Darkest Dungeon is just me fooling around while FFXIV works out its damn server issues. I wanna play so baaaaaaad. | ||

I haven't played either PUBG or its predecessors (DayZ and H1Z1), but my impression from what I've seen is that PUBG has simply refined the gameplay loop to the point where it's very approachable. Seemingly small things like parachuting down so you can see other players (and they can see you) make a big difference. | ||

Simply being able to take your saved dust, craft the legendaries you want, and not run face-first into 20 duplicate copies for the rest of the expansion is huge. People are going to easily have 2-3x the legendaries they had before, luck depending. If you don't it's because you were already a lucky bastard. | ||

Statement says you will not open a golden (or non-golden version if golden was your first) until you own every legendary of that set. Which is a cool way to guarantee golden legendaries  | ||
