Cant help but think that hitbox is anything but a FGC streamer using a Hitbox. edit: Nice pics Ketara. Really makes me want to travel overseas this summer. Like, I have enough set aside to do like a really good month long Korea/SEA/France trip, but something always keeps telling me to save it up. Have never gone outside of North America once in my life.

I've been told it's important. But I do want to use this crossbow I found. -This game is suffering but fair. Even the barrel of doom was something I could of avoided if I had paid more attention. OK, Thief is pretty much considered a "hard" class, much the same as the insane one which starts you with a club and wooden shield and that's it. The only plus of the thief is you get a second gift since I don't believe you can remove the master key from it iirc. The best starting classes, depending on what you want to do are Wanderer, Pyromancer, or Bandit/Cleric, depending on the build you want to use for the majority of the game. Stats, basically, vitality is your health and gives diminishing returns after 40 I believe. Attunement is slots for magic, pyromancy, and miracles, max slots of which is 10 I think, which you get around 45 or something, but you're never going to need that many unless you're doing some weird faith/int build. Endurance governs your stamina bar (green bar), equipment load, your stamina caps at 40, but your equipment load keeps going up until you hit 99. Your equipment load decides what your movement speed is depending on how encumbered you are; the values for that are 0-25% is fast roll/movement, 26-49% medium roll/movement, and 50+% is fat roll/movement. This only takes your equipped items into account. Strength and Dexterity are the two combat stats, every weapon in the game is part of either the strength or dexterity tree, with possible sub categories in faith or int. With strength weapons you can halve the level needed to use it if you two hand it, which lowers your defenses but upgrades your offensive power. Strength weapons are your straight swords, clubs, axes, shields, great shields, greatswords and ultra greatswords. For strength you usually only bother getting it to the level you need for whatever weapon you're going to use for the game since upgrading it does way more damage per soul used. Dexterity is basically your curved swords, katanas, bow+arrow, and your cast speed. Again, it suffers from the fact that upgrading your weapons is far superior to actually leveling your stats in terms of damage output, but it has the added effect of making cast times go down, which is usually why people level it when doing pyromancy/int builds. I believe the cast point caps at around 45 dex, so that's usually when people stop leveling it, but I'll have to double check that. Resistance increases your base defensive stats, your poison and I believe curse resistance, but I'm not 100% on the curse increase. Poison is only an annoyance, so that doesn't matter all that much, same for curse. You also get basic defensive upgrades every level normally anyway, so you're using souls on, say, 3 defensive points instead of the natural 1. Intelligence/faith are govern soul sorceries and miracles respectively, the higher your stats in those, the more damage/healing you get. Dying is an experience, you learn from it and try to not fuck up as hard next time ![]() First time through, your levelling stuff will be terrible. Just try out whatever weapon you want to use, but for the love of god, bows/crossbows are fucking terrible in dark souls. I use a bow and upgrade it to +5 or 10, but that's purely for catacombs/Sens and maybe one of the later bosses, but that's about it. Any other questions or if something isn't clear, let me know.
