Like things go right over my head all the time. Even when things are spelled out for me I still sometimes don't get it.

Well yea the normal tv viewerbase are idiots but at the same time treating them like idiots isn't going to make them become any less idiotic. Just makes me a bit sad watching that kind of stuff.

Bro I didn't even know that the guy was Gay when I read the first book. I think only in the second or when I was talking with my friend at the time did I realize this. Ok this was like 8/9 years ago but still, being dense is fine . I just see it as no reason for the author/scriptwriter to dumb down a story.

Ah Loras + Show Spoiler +In the novels his character is more than the one-dimensional promiscuous gheys meme that it is in the show. His relationship with Renly is heavily implied in the novels, but unlike in the show, he cares; he cares about Renly (and remains devoted to him after death["When the sun has set, no candle can replace it."]), about Tommen, his knighthood, the Seven Kingdoms, etc. He joins the Kingsguard for a reason.
His portrayal in the show is more or less character assassination, but w/e, I lived with 3 seasons of them butchering Stannis so i can live with a much more minor character being butchered (with the way things are laid out in the show, he's not so minor anymore, but still)
that being said, the amount of man ass (and Mannis) makes me all hot and bothered; finally, some equality in HBO objectification!

It's really interesting... for several months, my coworker has been complaining about gaining weight and how she really needs to start watching what she eats. But literally any opportunity she has to eat any kind of junk food or desserts, she's on top of it. And I mean, she's not super over weight and she's in her late 50s, but jesus fuck, have some will power.

There has been some pretty impressive man ass in this series.

It definitely deviated from there, but it's close enough that I'll be disappointed by story spoilers in the future. Stuff is starting to differentiate so much it's impossible to know if the events of the show will make it into the books. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that there will be characters that die in the show that survive in the book and play important roles + Show Spoiler +Come to think of it, they did that with Jojen at the end of Season 4 assuming he doesn't die early in TWoW or anything.

That's not interesting Soniv. That's 100% typical person there. Complaining about something while putting in no effort to change that thing is as standard human being as you get.
I stopped watching the show largely because I just didn't really enjoy it as a show. The changes to the story didn't irk me as much as just the show overall. Felt it gets a little too much praise for what it does. I guess the fantasy genre is just so underrepresented in tv/movies that people desperately want it to be amazing. Reminds me I need to watch last 2 seasons of Boardwalk. That was getting so crazy.

I guess... I've just never understood overeating and constantly snacking. But I guess part of it is that I was just constantly active growing up, so I couldn't eat like utter shit. I've definitely gotten worse since graduating, but still haven't really gained much weight.

I don't get it either. I'm trying to put on weight and failing at that. How do people just do it without even trying ;(

Then I stopped skating and gained a bit of weight. Then I ran out of gym classes I want to take in college and gained more weight. Now I have the same appetite but a much lower metabolism.

Back in college, I would eat 4-5000 calories easily per day. My appetite (mostly) adjusted to the amount of energy I now expend. Maybe I'm just lucky.

Thankfully I'm pretty active right now, so I've been able to keep my metabolism up, and stopping myself from gaining weight. But, actively trying to diet is really hard for me.

Trade bodies? The only time I've put on weight is about 2 years ago where I was kind of depressed and drinking a bottle of whiskey every week.

Sugary drinks are just super easy to consume and not think about. Sodas and juices are just so sugary and tasty and addictive, but pack on sooooooo much unneeded stuff.
Always water, never not water. Lots of it. Except for, ya know, coffee (which is fine if you drink it black) and a Monster (do as I say, not as I do).
