I actually think that farming the jungle that hard is a good thing, imo. If you have a faster jungler like Shy you can even keep up in keeping their small camps cleared.Like having a third solo lane.

Yep, had a game earlier with jungle shyvana (love that clear speed) where I only had to gank top a couple times for talon vs a nid that was pushing him pretty hard, just let mid and bot farm since the lanes were pretty static, and the other teams jungle kept trying to gank and sitting by lanes while I would steal his buffs and run around with oracles killing wards everywhere - had massively more gold by the end of the game and a lot more map control throughout the game.

I <3 Jungle Shy so much in the new Jungle. She just shits on conventional Junglers like Shaco, Rammus, Olaf, WW, Trundle, Nunu, Nocturne etc over the course of 20-30 minutes in that chances are she is controlling her jungle, dragon, and usually half of their jungle while she is at it.
Hell, I just played a game as Shy against an Olaf and at level four he went to gank top and I just stole his blue and kept it all game. I only ganked three times securing four kills, and just controlled both jungles and hunted Olaf relentlessly.... finished the game with 18k farm after 28 minutes and hit level 18 as the next highest player hit 16; to compare, Olaf was 14.

Why would you jungle Nunu anyway? He's so slow. 
And 18k is huge, but I expect you to have grabbed a lot of kills from your early farm, and like all dragons?

Had a Skarner warn us that he wouldn't give any blues during his jungling, because he doesn't trust pick-ups with it. I was mid (and neither Anivia, Swain nor Kassadin... Ryze if I recall) and I think that was fair enough, since we've all had examples of non-reliable pick-ups feeding buffs.

God, my friends. I like them, they are nice people and i want to play with them. But not LoL. First friend has found a new champ in Blitz on bot lane. Which is cool, because before he was known as suicide-trynda. Now, we have a very good ad, but second friend (level 6) plays lux and doesn't want mid. So we got blitz-lux bot and they mostly loose their lane. 3rd fried plays veigar and while he rarely dies in his lane, he is overly passive and reacts to no action besides his lane. leaving friend 4 and me with top and jungle. Now, we are the lvl 30 players and usually we can kill the opponents bads and all is good. But then, there are days like yesterday, where he fails EVERYTHING! and suddenly, we loose 5 games in a row (horribly) and i want to politely tell them that they SUUUUUUUCK! Instead, i politely tell them i am going to play swtor now...
We even lost against a team consisting of Taric, sona, Soraka, Kayle and Janna. And while that is stronger then it sounds (it really is if they know what they do) i want to scream. I mean, if they have infinite ways to heal themselves, all 5 of them are sitting below your turret, WHY WOU/LD YOU GO IN ALONE if Soraka was at half health after your spear? WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

Yeah, I led the whole game in farm, was pretty sick. I guess my point is, people are waaaay waaay waaay behind on the jungle meta.
Like I said, controlled both Jungles all game, and grabbed Dragon all game every six minutes. Was quite righteous actually, everyone keeps telling me Shy is no good and to choose a less worthless Jungle. Sorry son, I can take Shy and double the farm of whichever jungler you want me to pick.
I also think that RIven would be a pretty good in the new jungle... I think she has a pretty solid clear time and some of the best mobility as well as decent ganks. In the very least she can dive well and execute. I havn't tried it out (well, I played a bots games... but that isn't legit.) at all, but she seems like she would fit well in the new Jungle.

Had the worst game of my life last night.
I enter the lobby and we discuss bans.
I say "Ban Shaco"
Jackass says "No. Don't ban shaco. I'll pick Shaco and jungle." (Jackass had 4th pick)
First pick bans Kassadin, Akali, and Singed. Locks in Volibear with the first pick.
Enemy picks Shaco and Rammus.
I have second pick, I choose Gragas, third pick takes Tristana. We both lock.
Enemy takes Gankplank and Jarman and I begin to wonder what the hell they are up too...
Jackass chooses WW to jungle. I facepalm and contemplate a dodge...
Last pick on our team locks in Vlad and demands mid.
Trist and Voli say they want bottom.
At this point I'm thinking, "what the hell, I'll take top. This is gonna be a rough game anyway"
Enemy last picks Xin Zao.
Game starts. Jackass WW asks for a leash. I go and sit in the brush below blue getting ready to chuck a barrel for him.
A wild Shaco appears
and a Gankplank
and a Xin Zhao
First blood.
I get away. Jackass WW dies and goes back to blue, where Shaco is setting up boxes, and GP is just chillin.
An ally has been slain.
GP comes lane level 3 with 2 kills. I'm screwed.
Jackass WW says he can't jungle without blue so he comes to my lane and starts whackin minions. I see Shaco run to the River Bush, so I ping and retreat. He keeps whackin minions, and then gets jumped by GP and Shaco.
He has now fed the Shaco and GP 3 kills before I hit level 3. They now have a Rammus running hog wild in their jungle, a Shaco in ours, and we have a level 1 WW...
14 minutes into the game and they are pushing inhibitor towers.

I might just be done with this game.
It's not really fun feeding and having every single one of your lanes lose 5 times in a row and the times my badness gets carried don't really make up for it.

Riot needs to explain to people that assits are just as valuable as kills. I just had a game where the 2/4/3 garen i shit on top all game that had 60 cs try and tell me he was better then my 0/3/13 gallio with 150ish cs cuz he had kills. what made it better was is thinking cuz his tower went down last he was the best laner on his team. people are really stupid but this in just impressive on how much he didnt know about the game with 500+ wins

I know how that is this was just one of those are you really that stupid or do you not understand how this game is played moments. like unless im playing a carry or doing really well an assist is just as good as a kill for me. Like to me having low kills high assist is just as good as the opposite i just dont get why people put so much emphesis on kills

Ikr, I feel waaay more comfortable at that point, easy farm, you can start roaming around. Its almost become a joke with friends, 'oh look Anmol lost tower at 5min, npnp he's gonna carry game ezpz' XD

Towers are 750 global gold. All of them are worth 150 for each enemy on the enemy team. And I don't think that they help with farm at all. You're more vulnerable to ganks once your towers fall.
I'm kinda angry that my friends are smurfing again. They think it's cool to play against lvl5's and they use the excuse that there's one friend that's just starting. D:< Dickish move but I don't want to tell them I think that. None of them can jungle either. Like they don't know how to jungle and have never tried. And they have no idea how to not get zoned. They only do well when the game goes well for them from the beginning, and if they fall behind... "well gg, that garen got the first kill on me, better stay clear of his creeps and not get any more experience as mordekaiser".

Literally only one of them knows how to handle being behind in a solo lane :/
In duo lanes the probability that both enemies know how to zone is minimal so the zoning is reduced.

This is true but you aren't thinking in the long term. Most players at low levels and elo think there are two very distinct phases: laning phase and teamfight phase. As soon as their tower or their enemy's tower is down they think its time to leave their lane and start "ganking" the remaining lanes. You can very reliably just stay in your lane if your tower is down and freeze your lane, collecting cs and xp for several minutes while your opponent goes around and fails to gank (if you ping your team to warn them, or even better, ward for them). If you don't feel like freezing your lane you can also wait for them to go b, push your lane really hard and half the time you immediately take out their tower. Most of the time people don't even realize that you just equalized the lead that they spent the last 20 minutes trying to get, because they don't even realize that the other 4 people on their team think it is still "laning phase" while they run around and try to get kills.
As for being more vulnerable to ganks, just ward. If you get to farm another 4 cs safely, the ward just paid for itself.
edit: me and my friends smurf all the time, but i am starting to get really sick of it. It is definitely a crutch that noobs use because they just want to win without getting better. this includes me.
