If you watch how Maru came back against Cure in GSL just this last season, it looked a lot like that for the first 2 games and then he got serious, played safe and then beat Cure straight up in regular boring ass macro TvT.
This isn't a capability problem. Maru has the capability of beating anyone in this game straight up in a defensive macro game, even if he has to do it from a little behind economically. He's not losing those games, he's losing games because he keeps getting caught over extending or caught gambling with excessive greed.

He has all the preparation in his head in term of build and timing, its just about making the sound decision and adjustment in game, which something he completely fail to do a couple times already.

I have lost count of how many tournaments he's done this in. Well, its only considered as "disrespect" if Maru give Clem that treatment. He does the same to everyone and thats why he has lost because people has slowly adapted to that. They know Maru will have a quick 3CC, 2 EBay, delay production, while trying to send a medivac or a couple of Raven for harassments. Clem just punish him today, like Gumiho did before, and he still hasnt learn a F.
