Classic has virtually no shot against Maru/Cure and Serral if they meet again. And this is an online event so MaxPax will show up.

Classic's game 2 vs Reynor was so amazing. I caught the second half of his first game vs Serral and the second game and he looked completely hopeless so I thought there was no way he'd advance. If I didn't know the result of the Reynor series I probably would have quit watching halfway through the second game. The first game was just typical swarmhost BS and then in game 2 the initial harass goes okay but not great and then reynor kills Classics 4th + 10 probes with a mere 20 lings and Classic seemed completely dead to me. The way he started being super aggressive for the rest of the game was great. Nonstop action and trades and he managed to be extremely cost efficient. There was some sloppy play by Reynor allowing some big disruptor hit but it mostly felt like Classic was playing near perfect.
Game 3 was much more how I expected Classics wins to look but still impressive. Game winning damage with a very well hidden and delayed glaives all-in.

Truly Herculean effort by classic in game 2. I agree it was amazing watching live. He was down like 109 supply to 170 at one point

Honestly the online tournament scene has been amazing, and its even better since blizz pulled its funding, the scene has really come together.

I think some people got so impressed by Clem beating Reynor/Serral in regionals that they don't realize he hasn't progressed at all as a player since late 2020/early 2021 (does great in regionals but underperforms in non-regionals and struggles against Korean Terrans.)
Clem has great mechanics and is young so I still think he might have a real breakthrough one day, but as time goes on I become more skeptical.

Yeah, I don't want to imply that he's bad, I don't think that at all, but I keep seeing him ranked alongside Serral and Reynor and I've never seen him perform close to that level.
