I’m going to go out on a limb and say the final being PvZ may have the most influence there Katowice has the worst finals history of every tournament tbh It hasn’t had much luck there for sure. Just instinctively I’d say GSL has on average the worst finals, but as there are 3 a year you get some real classics too. let's just admit that in general finals are pretty disappointing Lets abolish final and just do round robin into a winner like EU soccer. We can just pick a match and make it the final and not tell the players. After the fact we go to Reynor like surprise you beat Dark here's the trophy.
Ohh that's good

He’ll become second biggest villain in your anime yes Nah come on Zest is the anime vilain, the young but inexperience up and comer full of energy, the grizzly old veteran doing his final run supported by the power of friendship and finally the protagonist. That's classic shonen stuff Also Protoss are villains by default. Especially if they play like Zest Protoss are the heroes fighting to protect a world that hates and fears them. That's not how two thirds of the communities sees us unfortunately. In which case, you might as well embrace the darkness like Parting and Zest have.
Yeah, but it's no surprise to me that most people would choose a comfortable and familiar evil over an strange and scary good.

Or write a program to watch parts of your screen (i.e. minimap, resources) for you and make a sound alert when there is movement on the minimap (doesn't even require proper machine learning, you could throw something rule-based together that would work fine) - again, this would be really easy to do. Unless the games are played on computers provided by ESL, and in a room they monitor, you simply cannot prevent this 100%. If anything, having her sit there in plain view is evidence that there is nothing to hide. Is there any rumour saying that Parting is cheating? I don't think so. I brought up yesterday that having no rules in place is probably not good given the possibility of cheating but I also reiterated that I def don't think he is Also it's a fair point that policing it for an online event is probably crazy hard unless you have refs in every country players are participating from lol
Now, I feel good. Yeah, that is kind of drawback from playing online tournament. I dont think Parting was cheating because he didn't respond to the Zest's proxy gateway/stargate quickly, let say, if someone nearby told him the location.

Is there any rumour saying that Parting is cheating? no people just dislike someone else being in the "booth" wiht the players This is it exactly. You don't even have to drive to the studio like normal, is it too much to ask to be in a secluded room, or at least the appearance of one to seem professional? You have all day to socialize with other people at home, knock it off while you are on camera playing games professionally. It's worse in CSGO. There have been high profile matches where teams not only have their whole squad in the room with them but you can see them in their phones or literally watching the stream live on other screens. There's nothing stopping them from saying something out loud or chatting between rounds

wow no long break this really is the greatest tournament of all time :clown:

I would bet the stream is delayed several minutes to avoid most of the cheating. Edit: that I think is not happening anyway

I specifically wrote "could help him cheat" so as to not suggest that :/ Also, there might be more cause to worry about something like that if SC2 was still a new esport. But all of these guys have won multiple championships before, throwing away their careers and reputations for just one more tournament win would be stupid. Plus, all the Koreans remember what happened to their scene when Life matchfixed, can't imagine they would want to be the guy to kill it off for good, never mind face the same consequences as Life did.

If Reynor wins, is he a greater player than Serral? This run would be harder than Serral's BlizzCon

The more important question is: If Reynor loses, is he worse than me?
I've never lost an IEM final.

I’d assume especially in the Korean scene with players knowing each other the thought of anyone trying to cheat in that manner wouldn’t really cross their minds.

feelsbad we didnt get rotti and demu casting the finals, they are the best duo imo
