It's actually not according to the rules listed on liquipedia Ties are broken in the following order: Overall map difference Overall number of map wins Match wins amassed between the tied participants ('Mini-League') Map difference between the tied participants ('Mini-League') Number of map wins between the tied participants ('Mini-League') Tie breaker matches Coin toss | ||

Maru vs Scarlett, WESG 2018 (2019) Maru launches 150 nukes in a 1h20m long game, kills creep tumors. Ended up resigning from a drawn position because he overlooked that Terran buildings can fly. Maru vs PartinG, 2020 GSL Season 3 Maru accidently destroys his army with a single nuke Maru vs Solar, IEM Katowice 2021 Maru kills Solar's entire army with a single nuke. Wins an otherwise completely lost game. | ||
