It appears to stay around 8K viewers most of the time but is a Premier event with top players at the same time of day as a DreamHack. I tried watching during Week 1. I did voice the same concern last week, and people were saying "Oh, it's just RO32, peak viewership is Clem v Byun". Not sure about viewers, but the thread never picked up (in fact, even died down in the later games when the timing should be middle of the night/day for EU and NA). Also, there's just too much lag time between matches (to be fair, this may be partly because of the player's fault). The timing is terrible for Asia-Pacific. I don't get why they can't start 2-3 hours earlier (which is early morning for NA). So I gave it a miss on Saturday. Not sure whether I will be tuning in on Sunday. I already had my SC2 fix during the ST. Also, kinda bugs me that I'm staying up late and EU/NA fans don't give a shit even though the event is set for their prime time. I really want to support TL's own tourney, but the terrible timing and low hype just puts me off. Sorry, guys. It's December, and there's a lot of work and chores to rush before Christmas and New Year...

I think it killed alot of hype this TSL had going for it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MaxPax ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thats alot of popular players/up-and-commers who are OUT of this tournament. It would have been better if it was double elimination from the ro32, or just make it single elimination from the beginning (would also make Showtime, Serral and Elazer victories more meaningful). I know it was because of the 3 week saturday/sunday schedule. Still think its a big shame. (It also don´t help that around 2000+ viewers disappear when Serral is done playing his games (no matter if he wins or not). It seems alot of the big foreigner fans only watches certain matches, or is just me?) At least alot of the best GSL players are still in it to make it exciting. If the foreigners keep performing i think viewership will go up.

A lot of the matches were played close to or after midnight. When you have to get up around 6-7am, can't really stay up that late.

Maybe should've scheduled on Friday and Saturday instead?
