It's not as if Trap was on double Robotics or anything yet and he only ever made like one Collosus.
Just an interesting choice. Solar died twice by trying to tech too aggressive against Trap's blink stalker + random robo crap attacks, so maybe Rag wanted some more reliable mid-game troops it was really the mutas that lost it for him anyway It was him investing so much into the Mutas just to be a massive coward with them that lost him the game. Once you know that Phoenixes are on the way the Mutas are on a timer for how long they'll be relevant. He just didn't do any meaningful damage with them in that time, he didn't even try to really.
I woudl not say coward. Trap just defended too well and Ragna couldn't find an opening

Agreed. It wasn't the control with the mutas that was the problem--more the decision to double and triple down on them.

That's a game we see play out almost identically quite often on Romanticide--for example when Serral lost to Showtime.

This feels like swarm host-roach-ravager moment.

I like how every time this speed flood gets later and later in order to catch P off-guard LMAO. Started with 19 drones, then became drone drill with 23, now it's 28 drone one.

What an anti-climactic end to Trap's comeback.

the winrate of Drone Ling flood in tournaments must be insane. I never see this strategy lose.

Really?
Blame the game not the players. A player should just do whatever strat. they think works best--a win's a win regardless of if it's nice to watch or not.

Such a scumbag to play to win x)

well very strange series to win for Ragnarok and it's disappointing to lose Trap. But I had Ragnarok winning 3-2 on the TSL betting contest so I'm not completely unhappy ^^

hey I'm not saying he wasn't right to play to win, just now I wish he loses in the most heart-breaking way in the next series because of this (you can tell I'm a trap fan)
