Well, the idea of 4 rax is to hit a bit later than 2/3 (assuming you don't get scouted) so you have an overwhelming marine count by the time zerg realizes what's going on. But maybe a location that far away just makes it too late | ||

I mean I suppose warping capital ships are a regular fixture in space opera/soft sci-fi (Warhammer, Stargate, Star Trek, BSG) so StarCraft is far from alone in having big ships teleporting, but it's really weird from a gameplay perspective. Never sat well with me design-wise. | ||

The only way for a spaceship to move between stellar systems on human timescales is to do so at faster than the speed of light (somehow). If you try to do the same over short distances like on a Starcraft map, that's basically teleport. It follows logically that everything that is also capable of similar space travel should have the same ability. For example, every Zerg unit and most Protoss Stargate units. | ||
