That's if you discard National Team (which I would agree) and only take basic stats I'm pretty sure. (if we start considering key passes, Xassists etc I'm not sure he'd top most categories).
Not very hot take: De Bruyne will end up being one of the best midfielder of all time.

Harry Kane going to prove he isn't a 2 season wonder

I'm sure lots of young impressionable teenagers have KDB in their top 3

Not sure if it's a dig or not but god he's so well rounded and his vision is delightful. The kind of player that makes a match worth to watch just because he's playing.

KDB is amongst the best. He just hasn't got the legend status yet because he hasn't retired and plays for City.

I think that's a bit unfair of a way to interpret what he says
im sympathetic to the idea that the absolute top competitors at anything aren't playing 100% optimally, at least from my experience watching various sports over time (whether it's basketball or starcraft)
lambo isn't saying the korean zergs are bad; he's asking why are they shooting 22 foot jumpers instead of stepping outside the 3 point line

Playing for City will end up being not bad when we'll look back at their last two season of PL. Would be nice to have this Belgium team win the Euro or next WC before their golden generation falls off.

It will because it's City. Yaya Toure at his peak was unbelieveable but he is incredibly underated.

Definitely not a dig, to clarify. People who don't have nostalgia goggles on can see that KDB should be considered one of the modern day greats, hence why young people watching probably think "KDB is a fucking baller". Typical arguments against that are comparisons to players who were great maybe decades ago or (more commonly) great players who don't play in the same position

Comparing players through different eras in pointless anyway, Mvp was the GOAT of early SC2 but his skill level his obviously dwarfed by Inno's. Doesn't mean he wasn't exceptional for his time. And the same is true for football player, any BPL team would probably trash 70's Brazil just due to all the progress being made. But that's so pointless to compare that.
That being said, let's go Zest.

I'm definitely exaggerating what he says, I know he doesn't really believe that execution is irrelevant. It's just that he often seems to feel there is something wrong with who wins games in starcraft because they don't play the game the way it is supposed to be played according to Lambo.

Dear said a Zerg would win, not Dark. In general these IEM vids have had some iffy subs in terms of accuracy (Maru said "I like to use the best strategy" not that "there is no best strategy")
