This is not a real thing in LotV because liberators force movement. And it damn sure wasn't real in 2016 ping pong meta because tanks could fly back then Yeah, it wasn't true during Tankivacs, I meant normal TvT  . It also wasn't true during that weird phase where it was all bio and Banshees. But that period sucked so much.
Good old gas first build order wins. Actually tank stalemates are pretty much the smallest part in the history of SC2 TvT at this point.
