So I know this is a long shot, but do any Poles or iem katowice regulars know where you can watch the games on Thursday in Katowice? Is there a barcraft or a sports bar that will show the sc2 games?

i don't think maru's group should be deemed hard for him... he was 3-0 against Dark in 2018, 3-0 against neeb, he's not lost to leenock since 2013... maybe trap could somehow pull an upset, but realistically this shouldn't be a hard group for maru by any means

Also there is not one there who is capable of doing what sOs did to him in Global finals. Trap might have some special builds planned since they are teammates, but that's it.

For group A I predict the following:
1. Stats
2. Zest
3. Creator
and for group B:
1. Leenock
2. Dark
3. Maru
The second group is more of a wish though. Lambo getting through is too unrealistic, so let's go Leenock. =)

Special demonstrated some pretty fantastic TvP against Classic at Blizzcon. He 2-0'd the arguably second best PvT player in the world, and people are thinking hes gonna struggle against Creator and Patience? idk about that one gents, I think the Dorito is being underestimated here.
To be fair, it will be difficult to play nothing but protoss at a high level because at SOME point youre gonna be repeating builds, but on the flip side all his protoss opponents are currently practicing PvP probably exclusively.

Hasn't TvP changed quite a bit since Blizzcon? Would be sick if he made it out though.

well he did lose 0-2 to patience in the online qualifiers of this event so the thought is not exactly groundless

It most certainly has, that's true. It would be silly of me to claim it hasn't changed enough to make a difference, but overall im just trying to point out that special is a better caliber player than most people are willing to admit :D
Also special beat classic with fairly standard, macro style games ( I think he fake proxied tho), meaning he didn't take advantage of proxy aggression to win, which is the biggest change in the matchup since then. I think both Special and Ragnarok are better than people think, and I have them as the dark horsies in their groups
