I feel like if Impact had had a bit more creep spread he would've been able to defend just a bit better to be in an okay position in this game. But LBM is so momentum based.

That looked surprisingly close to working from Impact several times, but in theory Impact's attack was kinda a doomed venture with the comp. that TY had. And this time it looks like theory won out.

This style Fantasy is playing is really cool. It's a way better version of mech than passive mech.

I'm curious if this mech style needs the 85-90 workers for efficiency purposes. My initial impression is he substitutes extra workers for scans to exploit cyclone upgrade.

Mass expand + tons of workers is the way to play cyclone/hellion. You need to take advantage of your map control.

I mean at least these cyclones can be microed as opposed to the machine-gun cyclones where you lost DPS when you tried to stutter-step.

Brood lords are very expensive and very slow. Lurkers literally can't move when attacking.

I thought leenock had that 100% after the marauder/hellbat push failed, but he just couldn't keep it together it seemed. So many free swarmhost kills for Fantasy.

Broodlords (or possibly infestors into broodlords) are something you want to get to eventually against cyclone/hellion imo. Though staying on viper/hydra for quite a while like Leenock did is in of itself fine too (assuming good execution).

Impact's playing pretty consistently today. He's a good measuring stick for the strength of terrans, and so far (as expected) Fanta's come up pretty short compared to TY.

Yeah, but it takes years to get there, in high eco games. Infestors are also fine, but Leenock wasted a ton of cash goinf ravager/SH before seeing it's mass cyclone

Impact's builds just aren't working out today - that's 3 times today that the 8 zergling drop has been shut down badly, and then the burrow roach play was shut down hard as well

I was kinda disappointed that Fantasy didn't advance, his play looked really solid today. Also it was Impact just doing the 1-1 roach ravager timing over and over again..
Congrats to Impact and TY though, at least that's 1 more zerg in the ro16

I only just noticed this, so trust me I'm not saying this out of hindsight. No idea why you placed Impact in with those guys. He can be dangerous, fairly strong player. Leenock and Losira are the real suspects.

I think RagnaroK is generally far more guilty of this than Leenock or Impact - Leenock made ro. 16 and a Ro. 8 last year before getting the flu and rekt by TY, and Impact was this until he’s started to level up in the last eight months or so.
