They're just not very good in PvZ since they need a ton of support to not just get instantly jumped on and killed. You need sentries to protect them and allow colossi to do their steady splash damage which takes a lot of gas and makes transitioning more difficult. To spend your minerals you need to make stalkers which aren't great against ling/bane/hydra. Chargelots don't work in this comp. as mineral sink since they're a strong unit at engaging, but not so good when you're playing keep-away with forcefields and colossi.

Throwing darts at a board does not count as faith

True enough but that is not what I did. I took a shot that Leenock could beat Dear since they are on similar levels, but what I did NOT expect was him taking a convincing game off of Maru. That was straight beautiful.
Edit: also, username appropriate.

*Brofist*
I too believed in Leenock. Though I didn't think he'd show up in that kind of form. Thought he'd narrowly squeak by Dear, not dominate him

HE TOOK A FUCKING GAME OFF OF MARU!
I'm so hyped. I want him to have a Gumiho style season this year, he's the only one that can beat Maru that I will be ok with. MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE sOs.

Just watched the VODs. Really happy for Leenock. His games against Maru kind of remembered me of DRG solving Innovations parade push style in GSL-WCS seaon 3 in 2013. I hope he can keep it up and makes a deep run in the playoffs

Very accurate comparison, hopefully Leenock does more with this resurgence than DRG did though, it's a shame this kid has never won a GSL despite being so good for so long.

The only way to win a GSL as a zerg was to win it during WOL.
