  • Group Stage #2 (Round of 16): Dual Tournament format.

  • Group Nominations.
  • Best-of-three.
  • The 4 players of each group in Round of 16 will face off similar to Round of 32.
  • Players who place 3rd and 4th in their group are eliminated from Code S. They may re-qualify through next season's qualifier.

Maru should make it out first, second place will be decided between zest and solar (edge to solar). Poor patience doesn't really belong in this ro16.

Zest always looks so sloppy. And I think Patience will get roflstomped by nerves.

Maru has been killing it on the ladder the past couple days. His allins with the new (well I guess old) mararuders look unstoppable.
Zest, sOs, PartinG, Dark, and Maru are the real champs. ROOT_herO is overrated. Snute, Serral, and Scarlett are the foreigner GOATs

If Zest brings his "A game" he can beat Maru. I fear for Solar Zest's PvZ improved a lot. Patience with his crazy builds can have a chance too.

I remember when Trap was considered by far the weakest player in the ro16 last year as he was allegedly playing a lot of Overwatch and yet managed to make it out of his group. I wouldn't bet on Patience doing the same, but I could definitely see him using insane blinks forward to knock out Zest in the loser's match.

First time watching GSL with a patch change mid-season, will they play with the new patch or the one they started with?


Also why isn't this thread not on available on the event display thing.

Maru looks to be in unstoppable form. He is 1 and 2 on KR ladder, both Accounts 7k MMR. Last stream he went like 15 games won in a row.
I hope he shows up today and smashes face
