Go Terran since France is dead
|
It will be interesting to see if Rail has fixed his issues with handling lurkers. I don't think I've ever seen a player as consistently poor against them as he was versus Bly.

2 Terrans in round of 12 !!! Nice!
|
How did DeMuslim look against Protoss? I think it's going to be a close series between the two?
|
Gooood morning everyone! Looking forward to today. Saw uThermal & Elazer stacking up good at breakfast, they'll be ready to give it their best. With best-of-fives all day today and only one match at a time there's also more time for staff to actually watch & enjoy the matches, so yay

The real question is: are we going to have two ZvZ semifinals lol

Minato plays with stuffed animals near him ? Looks like I'll be cheering for him :D

Damn Elazer is ruthless with the short games :o

This was as good a beatdown as Dark vs Neeb in Blizzcon 2016 I guess Elazer took Dark's powers when he beat him this year

Serral is an amazing player and I don't want to belittle his victory, but I believe that mech has simply no answer to that heavy hydra drop style, just not enough mobility.
|
Serral vs Elazer tomorrow is going to be brutal.

Finnish hope vs. Polish zerg.
What a vicious matchup.

(has it ever been viable outside of specific cheeses/all ins against Protoss?) If it had been, aspiring Terran pros could have started with the mechanically less demanding style and still do decently in tournaments while practicing the more mechanically demanding style until they were masters at both.

Showtime looks so strong!

I thought the new ITs were supposed to be super broken? Why didnt he use them?

If each infestor only casts the spell once, the Infestors will have regenerated the energy by the time the next engagement happens. (25 energy takes approximately 30 seconds to regen)

(25 energy takes approximately 30 seconds to regen) One IT for each infestor would be 10-13 infested terrans which protoss army crush in a second. Zerg has to spam at least like 25 infested terrans or none at all. Also, 30 seconds is a really long time in lotv.

I've really enjoyed watching the few games I've been able to watch so far, the casting and production value of this tournament so far has been solid (again of the little I've seen).
Which is very good given for some of the free-to-play joiners to the scene it may very well be their first tournament viewing experience.

It is much better made than last year. They learned some lessons. However a lot of things could be easily improved.
