These casters were focusing too much on the economic damage when Snute had an insane bank and wasn't losing his army.

Well yeah, if Snute killed enough units he would have won obviously. But you kept going on about him having a "huge bank" when he never went higher than 3K gas. That's not a huge bank. Lings wouldn't do anything unless aLive lost everything, he had enough of an economy to continuously build bio, which lings will never trade favourably against.

I like how this map looks, but that symmetrical design with small chokes in the middle screams for split map stale late game situations. I guess by nerfing ravens and swarmhosts Blizzard wanted to limit that, but by rehabilitating BL/infestor, I don't see this map offering dynamic gameplay, hope I'm wrong tho

I've noticed that a lot of Terrans (and toss) have almost given up controlling creep in the early game too. It's weird.

I hear her the first time. She has a great casting voice I think, likely even better when she is healthy again. But yeah, there are a few issues with her casting. The first is that she talks too much and doesn't let her co caster talk, even interrupting his part constantly. And the second is a lack of strategical understanding in the late game, like what is important and what not, and who is doing what and why is he doing that and who is winning. This was obviously especially showing in a Snute series. But I think these problems can be solved with more experience.

That game was won with the Zergling attack that killed 6-7 SCVs which weakened aLive's push on the 3rd/4th which probably ends that game without eco damage.

I think they should test reverting to the old creep if they decided to keep the same units, because now it put way to much pressure on terran with how fast the creep expend so zerg can get control of the middle of the map way to easy and then play super passive without risk.

In paper its ok but it puts too much preassure in the non-zerg, going deep in creep its dangerous, not to mention it costs scans from a terran to kill creep, so the faster it expands the more scans are necessary and that burdens the terran economy.

Well in BW most abilities are kinda ridiculous. Imagine if blinding cloud lasted as long as dark swarm. And really I only meant by the general idea. Like scramble would ideally be like EMP, shredder missile would be irradiate and repair drone defense matrix. But shredder missile does no damage and scramble only lasts like 2 seconds.

Anyone know what happened to all the Terrans? I saw an interview with the casters where they pretty much laughed at how bad terran was, but now I only see one out of 8 players remaining.

To be fair, the overall quality of the Terrans here was worse than either the Protoss or the Zerg. Also, if you go by the roughly half rule, it's only like .75 off the number of Terrans. Also, two of the Terrans had the misfortune of being in the same group as Zest.

If someone needs to be a 350 EAPM terran God to do well vs foreigners playing part-time.. there's something fundamentally wrong with the Terran meta.
