Can anyone explain to me why toss comps are so gateway focused in Lotv PvT? I understand the colo was nerfed and the adept make for a better staple unit than the zealots, but still, is blink/adept the best mid-game composition toss can get? Isn't it worth it to get at least archons/storm, or some disruptors?
Plus, blink/adept seems super-boring to me in term of micro. Even the viking vs colo duels of Hots were better.

wtf was with all the Neeb hype? He's really not that impressive.

I guess putting Neeb in my 'contenders' list was a mistake wtf. His plays vs Polt actually were impressive and now this. Come on, don't make me look bad, win next two games!

But in the long run you need storm into tempests or colossi. I hope we see some more colossi games, I think this is by far the most reliable option even though that's less compatible with extremely quick 3rds.

Central protocol for last game? This mappool is too horrible already :x

Crazy mineral incomes = more gateway stuff.

He's really not that impressive. to be fair he had impressive moments recently with incredible mouse precision and awesome decisiveness. Maybe he's feeling the pressure today, and it's not over anyway.

I still believe in Neeb. He was down 2-1 vs Hydra and came back, he can do it vs Kelazhur

He's been having great results online all over these past few weeks, people were excited to see if he could play as well offline.

He beat Hydra and Polt to win the qualifier here. Or maybe it was the next WCS event.
Point is he's good.

Okay, I'll believe it. I mean I've never seen his games so far, only the results. So I am kinda disappointed right now. But offline with 6k on the line is a different beast of course.

But becuase Kel greeded so much he never had the army advantage he needed. It was. And it should have worked because Kelazhur gladly came to him and lost everything. With no turret at the natural for ages he also lost a lot to harass. Still, Neeb never had anything to fall back on (his absurdly late colo transition made no sense) and once Kelazhur had 5+ libs it was over.
When you open Stargate shouldn't you also be more willing to play the late game macro game? Because it makes it easier to transition into Tempests which you eventually are gonna need on this map. It just seemed weird that he gambled that much on the 3 base timing on this map. No viable B-plan.

He lost the first game in the late game, pretty hard actually, but he never managed to get out ghosts so it's not quite the same.
