One of the most entertaining Protoss I've ever met. Even better that he actually did wreck everyone for a time.

From time to time you could announce it, or if it is some really hyped up final, otherwise it´s just a time filler and unecessary. idk to me, it feels like the proper way to start a game off. like we know when a tv episode starts because it's the beginning, but they still have the opening. it just feels right Maybe you could start off a series like that - and then do a simple intro each game. I developed this opinion a few weeks ago too (probably DH) that it really doesn't add anything and if it's the same EVERY TIME (as it is) then what's the point? I assume it would be something the casters themselves decide to do/not do? So we should voice our opinions to Tastosis, Apollo, Rotti, Nathanias, etc, I'm thinking. To clarify, for VoD purposes as well as viewers that show up not having seen the series before, I've always been told for consistencies sake to keep introducing players since each game should be able to stand on its own in case it's epic or something. In a casual environment such as HSC, I agree that it isn't needed more than at the start of the series. Personally I think both ways are fine since I can see why introducing players helps especially when not all tournaments actually make sure players are using their actual IDs when playing

This counts for my powernapping as well as the blind ppl or ppl who don't see well but still wanna listen to starcraft (for reasons we don't need to know, judge or question, since there are always blind ppl watching sport we should maybe support them as well).. Besides that, there is this "it has been always like this so we need to keep it" saying, that usually annoys me because I think it is a retarded logic, but however, the way they did it at HSC, it was actually fun and why not use the time to do some intro that goes beyond: in the left there is X, in the right there is Y. There is a lot more to say about players, positions, maps etc. Unfortunately, noone here knows "Heinz Prüller" who was a F1 reporter back in the (70s?) 80s, 90s and early 2000s. He was more of a storyteller then a real reporter but it was always so relaxing listening to his bullshit stories (which he actually believed and there was no sarcasm involved) about the F1 pilots nieces best friend who did something really stupid back then when they were kids, playing in the sandbox and because of that, that particular F1 driver (lets call him Schumacher), who heard of that story from his mother (or whatsoever, his stories were always kinda confusing ^^), has this one little trick he does in every sharp right corner and that is why he is 7 times world champion and the other ones are noobs. Casters like that make me still watch SC2 even though I really started to hate that game because of certain design decisions in the races and it even hurts watching the games (especially PvT...) - but with great casters its entertaining

I would still prefer introductions only in the first game of a series. To me, stream experience is much more important than the VODs, and almost all of 2014 I spent watching VODs from GSL instead of watching it live. But I can see it both ways.

I think HSC protosses are just trying to make the point of how OP adepts are and need to be fixed.
