Yep. It was insane when it happened, although i never thought i'd see it again, especially in such an important final. This start has 100% win rate against herO in televised games haha.

I'd say herO is not the craftier Protoss, very solid, but not so good when he has to adapt on the spot.

Yeah, except it was on even better map, Deadwing where you can make a Spine Forest that protects 4 bases. And he also did Nydus behind the rocks of herO's third base so hero couldn't even kill that.

Eventually massive Mutas, Lings army killed herO as he kept losing Nexsus and important buildings to Locusts.

With a setup time, i don't understand why investing in 5 swarm hosts and nydus won't be great even in the late game.

The difficulty is in surviving to the late game. You can´ tgo to SH almost ever until the very late game and then protoss deathball is so strong that you need every unit to defeat it.

It's as if the game doesn't end when you fight a battle.

A zerg should peel the layers of the protoss army and pull him every way. you shouldn't really be able to fight a maxed out protoss and beat him in 1 fight. His army is way more expensive.

Nice thing is, this SH style suits Vaani very well, but it's not like it's impossible to do on other maps, in my opinion. It's harder, but I think it could be viable.

please stop talking about a race you don't understand, you can't just make up strategies where you spend a thousand gas and twenty supply to attempt harass and expect it to randomly become meta play on standard maps. muta harass is still far better than sh even with the vulnerability to pushes because you continue threatening and they can return to the fight immediately if they need to

yes it was a great map build, no you're not right that it means "more zergs have to experiment", it's like saying toss should do that vaani WP 8gate against terran on a normal map
