Ehhh. It was. That was because the game hadn't matured yet. The later Naniwa/Scarlett/Snute accomplishments are more impressive than Mr 200/200 Roach into BL/Infestor (which isn't to say that Stephano was totally terrible) That's not counterargument. Besides, the game matured with stephano. He was both at korean skill level and innovated the game at the same time. Nah, not at all Hope I'm not talking to a Stephano anti-fan here
Not really, no. I hate Stephano fans, not Stephano

Honestly a Proleague type thing with foreign teams might not be such a bad idea. With players living in United States, Russia, France, Mexico, etc I don't see how it's doable. Honestly, if they really want to become as good as the Koreans, they'll have to be ready to make concessions and live together. And then have one teamleague in EU and one in NA and finish it at the global finals.
at the moment I feel that France and Germany have the best players (in EU) and also the most amount of devoted foreign SC2 fans. NA infrastructure/interest is so meh. Especially with guys like ForGG living there a true offline league would be really great. You could easily have TL which have the resources participate as well. An offline PL that could alternate between cologne and paris would be so sick. but maybe just pipe dreams for now.
