Didn't say it was perfect. But you're far more likely to get a few good hits with smaller groups than with one big group.

I feel like those baneling waves are more used for clearing mines and getting any marines as possible, usually he uses lings to push the bio back enough for banes to blow up on top of the mines when they trigger.

Okay, I'll rephrase that. You are right about how you're supposed to fight marines and mines. Life just wasn't doing a terribly good job at it.
