Getting really frustrated with Blizz. Can we take a moment to realize that they know this is hurting them and that they 110% certainly don't screw shit up on purpose? So if you don't intend to be incompetent you should be excused ? No, I'm saying people sitting half across the world in the comfort of their bedrooms need to take a step back and realize that running an event of this magnitude adjacent to something like Blizzcon is fucking difficult and that people that know jack shit about the situation should stop saying "Wow, Blizzard are really incompetent". We don't know what the problem is at all, only that there is a problem. So viewers are no longer allowed to be disgruntled? ok Allowed to be disappointed, but people can stop acting like they know what the problem is or how simple or complex it is Well just because you dont know exactly why a problem occurs, does not mean you can understand that it should not. If a gun malfunctions in battle, everybody understands it is a screw up. You dont need to be a weapon expert. If an athlete that is supposed to win 800 meter running finishes last place, 30 seconds after the winner you dont have to be an expert to understand that he fucked up. If Blizzard cannot even make their own game run after four years without mid-game pauses during the biggest tournament of the year, you dont have to be an engineer or computer expert to understand it freaking sucks. I dont want it to do. I dont understand why it does. But I clearly can see that this is not good. Doesnt matter if Blizzard wants it to work or if I understand the problem or not. What I understand is that it should not be happening. Not today. Not now and not not like this.
I agree this is the wrong time and place to have this happen, and worse of all repeatedly. This Blizzcon is, if you ask me, a disaster (and not just because Zest got eliminated by that Zerg scrub ).

Hopefully their next reveal is that "In Legacy of the Void, tournaments will have only half as much downtime, allowing you, the viewer, to maintain something resembling a decent sleep schedule".

But why didn't they fix it beforehand? I mean, all problems that may arise can be anticipated ahead of time, right? Right?

everyone keeps bringing up the super bowl, but that was one incident in the entirety of televised professional football. you can count the number of incidents in professional sports like that on one hand. this happens all the fucking time in esports, but it magically doesn't seem to happen as often to the companies that are better at dealing with it. and this is now two days in a row, with multiple incidents. and the super bowl outage was caused by something literally exploding.

I'm glad I got the ticket for this.

You can grapple your own units to get away as well. from the trailer the just showed its meant to tank for immortals and blings. being a shield for marines/mauraders and taking out specialty units. seems pretty all in to me
