So if you don't intend to be incompetent you should be excused ? No, I'm saying people sitting half across the world in the comfort of their bedrooms need to take a step back and realize that running an event of this magnitude adjacent to something like Blizzcon is fucking difficult and that people that know jack shit about the situation should stop saying "Wow, Blizzard are really incompetent". We don't know what the problem is at all, only that there is a problem. So viewers are no longer allowed to be disgruntled? ok Allowed to be disappointed, but people can stop acting like they know what the problem is or how simple or complex it is Well just because you dont know exactly why a problem occurs, does not mean you can understand that it should not. If a gun malfunctions in battle, everybody understands it is a screw up. You dont need to be a weapon expert. If an athlete that is supposed to win 800 meter running finishes last place, 30 seconds after the winner you dont have to be an expert to understand that he fucked up. If Blizzard cannot even make their own game run after four years without mid-game pauses during the biggest tournament of the year, you dont have to be an engineer or computer expert to understand it freaking sucks.
I dont want it to do. I dont understand why it does. But I clearly can see that this is not good. Doesnt matter if Blizzard wants it to work or if I understand the problem or not.
What I understand is that it should not be happening. Not today. Not now and not not like this.

How is this even comparable to the Super Bowl having ONE power outage during the game?

You can kinda expect better from a bigger company like Blizzard. Imagine if the world cup kept on getting cut off the shit storm would be so huge Yeah imagine if something like the Super Bowl had a power outage haha what a travesty I dont know I dont watch Super Bowl. All I know if the WC had a technical problems as big as blizzcon you know for a fact people would kick up a shit storm and I can understand why Here you go. Shit happens in all sports. And I bet people complained Of course. I'm objecting to the notion that Blizzard are amateurs and that this is somehow unique to Starcraft, which has been prevalent since yesterday. Obviously this is a shitty situation and I understand frustration, but there's a line to draw somewhere. I never said Blizz are amateurs in fact I know they can put on a great show. Thats why I am pissed with this one
I'm not talking exclusively to you

I'd say last blizzcon was better, but MMA didn't make it past the Ro16 at the last blizzcon, so this is better.

Who says its a suicide unit? You can grapple your own units to get away as well.

The Superbowl comparison is not the same thing at all. Superbowl had a power outage. They took a break and fixed it. There were no more problems afterward.

I guess November is not the time baby eagles hatch.

While I agree there is a line to be drawn somewhere, using that as a comparison is a bad choice. That has happened once out of how many super bowls? Compared to how often this has happened just this weekend?
