omg they switch to Battle.net 2.0 and the tournament is saved, what PR

If there's a chance of "a major power outage", then run the crucial equipment (including the computers the people are playing on!) on UPS's...

You can kinda expect better from a bigger company like Blizzard. Imagine if the world cup kept on getting cut off the shit storm would be so huge Yeah imagine if something like the Super Bowl had a power outage haha what a travesty no remind of that game pls I think it was a great game. Right team won You, go find a high place and jump off.

All I know if the WC had a technical problems as big as blizzcon you know for a fact people would kick up a shit storm and I can understand why Here you go. Shit happens in all sports. And I bet people complained Of course. I'm objecting to the notion that Blizzard are amateurs and that this is somehow unique to Starcraft, which has been prevalent since yesterday. Obviously this is a shitty situation and I understand frustration, but there's a line to draw somewhere. I never said Blizz are amateurs in fact I know they can put on a great show. Thats why I am pissed with this one

how hard could it be to get it right? dreamhack sweden was 100% smooth, dreamhack bucharest was smooth, any other turnament that i saw was smooth, but this is just beyond everything i've seen in terms of issues...

The Starcraft 2 tournament isn't even happening at the Blizzcon venue, it's at that stadium place.

HA HA HA ^^
I'm now convinced they wrote the announcement about the Cyclone and conceived the unit just before Blizzcon began.

MMA got the entire thing in the bag, no way he goes out now. I hope he never retires.

... perhaps if they'd included LAN from the beginning then they'd have caught this bug already, hmm?

do you think the herc is fundamentally wrong for Terran? It's a suicide unit. meant to grapple towards the enemy and soak up dmg. For a bug race like zerg self sacrifice seems natural. But for humans?

Some mod is keeping sub mode on chat... I feel like having the chat open will make people less likely to leave the channel

I'm pretty sure I read that the panels went dark or at least suffered issues as well.

Why they don't launch some of their cinematics? I mean, trailers & stuff, they are best at this and it is better than watching "we will be back soon (tm)"

This tournament has had more crashes than I've had since the launch of WoL :-/ I wish I'd at least understand what is so hard to fix. Since I don't frustration is high.
