I'm certainly much much worse a player than Classic, but accepting the phoenix war with such a later stargate seems like the dumbest decision to me.

Brilliant defense by Classic. In phoenixes vs phoenixes, even when you're behind, with good plays like this you can immediately get back into the game.

People bitch about phoenix vs phoenix but it's actually one of the most intensive micro fights in the game, because they are so fast and fragile at the same time.
I agree, my Phoenix vs Phoenix matches make me spike so much in APM, compared to normal matches.
