There is no skill in using swarm hosts. There, I said it You're entitled to saying dumb shit, I suppose^^ I personally feel swarm hosts are a cancer to the game, and I'm going to bash the unit until I die. Bashing the unit is one thing but they clearly require skill. Stephano wouldn't be miles better than other SH players if that wasn't true As another user pointed out, Stephano's burrowed roach harass was the key. Swarm hosts you just rally. You and I can both do the same thing. You just place overlords and rally to where the enemy is.

One at the center when he picked off three swarmhosts for free, and the battle at the top where Nerchio couldn't break the line despite being closer to the base than Stephano was. Agreed. You can like SH or not (I don't really like them), but Stephano did things with them than Nerchio couldn't.

Well some roach hydras are good This was a good game Bad roach vs roach games exists Bad SH vs SH games exists This game was cool. Maybe we need more option versus swarmhost than going swarmhost so that we could have more fun. I mostly miss the fact that it's so hard to end a game when playing versus swarmhost. SH range is maybe too big, they zone out every units too easily.

I believe his point is that every top zerg has the ability to use them, they just don't bother to learn how. I certainly hope top players of a race have the ability to practice and get good at using an extremely important unit!

Yeah im a hater because I dont like watching garbage games. Best thing that's been said in this thread.

Stephano's multitask is just better in these kinds of situation and his early ling / bling control is more than good enough to survive long enough for these situations to arrive.

Winning in that situation? Absolutely yes, and great grasp of his opponents. That had basically nothing to do with stephano and everything to do with Nerchio If nerchio did anything right he could have won easily, but he got overconfident and didn't expand at all, didn't remake drones, didn't handle the roaches well, and so he killed himself.
