They were saying shield upgrades AND missed EMPs were the problem, they weren't saying the upgrades negated the EMPs. With 300 shields the EMPs become much more important and Parting was dodging them.

Yeah actually he had a lot of PF instead of orbitals. Hence not such high income because no mules, and he used scans a lot.

In the second attack he had some. But in the one where MMA landed all his vikings, I think he had none left.

Godamnit MMA, still a decent showing that game bar a few big flubs. Anybody hate Alterzim, just seems far too big a map for Terran to push after a favourable engagement I've seen Polt prosper with his Nexus sniping antics mind

In the battle before that he only had two and quickly sniped them with Vikings. He also had 19 Ghosts.

Unlike Rain, however, TB made a point of repeatedly telling "LR" (I'm not sure who LR is, but I'm sure it's a person) that anyone who doesn't think Terran is broken late-game is blind and probably deaf as well. I think it would have died out a while ago if he hadn't kept fueling the fire that made people want to respond to him.

u can at least scan for colossus or see if his robo facilities are active before having such a lopsided viking to ghosts ratio

well I was afraid as well when Parting walked into the terran army without any micro and got EMPed and only got 2 storms down. But then he warped in 20 zealots and then 11 archons and was maxed again
