It's a marketing mistake not to build hype and attention to historic rivalries such as EG-Liquid, and frankly this rivalry has been taken too lightly by the teams in the past few years. because most of eg faded into oblivion There is no rivalry between Taeja and Jaedong (which is sad). On a more serious side of things: It'd be great if they would let their foreigners battle it out and go for koreans as ace only - but that won't happen. So I won't be hyped, but hoping for a Taeja allkill Snute bunny and mana could probably all-kill all of eg's foreign team
As I was told, HuK made Ro16 WCS AM, which makes him stronger than Jaedong

JD all kill? At this point I'm not even sure if he can win snute in a BO5 Sure it's possible. Leenock and ForGG both got all kills and they've been quiet for a while Being quiet is one thing, actively losing is another. Jaedong has fallen in the early rounds of Go4SC2 against DMC and KnowMe lately, I doubt he has the consistency to beat Taeja+ double HerO. I think a Jaedong all-kill is about as likely as a Snute all-kill atm, it can happen, but it does not have the same chance as one of the hands of Taeja/HerO.

Hm he is warming up on stream right now. His zvt still doesn't look to good against high KR GMs . He is snacking zergs easily, but I'm not too confident against Taeja or HerO.

Jaedong was one of the most accomplished players in 2013, and EG had a solid lineup throughout 2013 (Revival, Oz, aLive) to a point where EG was a stronger team than Liquid. Even today, EG-Liquid isn't too one-sided by the numbers. i agree that jd was a force in 2013, noone would dare to say otherwise, but if you look at the lineups today, there is no doubt about who has the edge. comparing the foreigners, liquid wins, comparing the koreans today, taeja wins + Show Spoiler +aaaaaaaaand we started to discuss who's better, mb the teams should hire us for promo Jaedong can beat HerO and Taeja. But I think people are underestimating EG's non-Jaedong lineup. Xenocider, Suppy, JYP and Huk have actually been doing decently well in EG's other main teamleague, the ShoutCraft Clan Wars, even beating IM and Startale.
Lol I wish... he's been so hit and miss lately. T_T

I am looking forward to this. I hope to see some Bunny vs Xenocider TvT action.

HerO all kill? yes, please.

Man I was really hoping it would've happened by now, but no sign of a proleague partnership. It's important to have teammates close to you and practice/talk with them, have a coach etc. even Jaedong can only do so much alone.
This tweet also worries me a bit.
Of course you get bored after you dropped out of WCS and live alone in Korea without a chance to play anything there. Playing in Proleague would really motivate him and give him short term goals to work for and I really hope EG changes something.

The fans see Jaedong play alot. A team gets a good zerg. And his skill increases so he rocks foreign tournaments again for EG. Everyone wins.

That's true, but I'd still rate TaeJa over him, at least in a head-to-head match between the two.
