It will consist of 8 of the best teams North America has to offer, fighting it out to show who is the best. The league kicks off on Friday, January 31, 2014. Schedule:Every Friday 8 PM EST, & Sunday 2 PM EST View the full schedule here. Format: Each team will play a new team every week in a bo7 all-kill format. Points are scored for every map win. Should two teams tie in both map win score, and map score differential, a bo9 tiebreaker will be played. This will only happen if the teams are on the cusp of the top 2, or bottom two spots. In any other case a coin will be flipped for position. Once the regular season is over, the top 6 teams will advance into playoffs, with the top two teams getting a bye into the semi-finals. The length of the regular season and playoffs will be 7 and 4 weeks respectively. Map PoolNew Fighting Spirit, Habitation Station LE, The King Sejong Station, Heavy Rain LE, Polar Night LE, Yeonsu LE, Neo Arkanoid, Frost LE, FruitlandThe GameHeart spectator overlay will be exclusively used for this league. They have worked with us to bring some of these maps into the system just for this tournament, so there can be a more enjoyable spectating experience. Greatness awaits.
But ALOT of thought went into this map, looking at Kespa, there were some REALLY great games here. Protoss and Terran cant be too greedy because of Small visible Creep tumors just barely covering your 2nd and 3rd base. Really looking forward to see how players play this map. Also, nice to have a map that you don't see every day but is pretty well balanced.

i wish Armata gaming could have been part of this , anyhow i wish you sucess . I think a qualification process for lets say last 4 spot would have been great with team like , aG, DuST , LYGF, MgZ ,XT , OD , TAsc, xIG , T2P, RoH , KLG...

The tournament is NA teams only, but the teams are able to use their entire roster, regardless of nationality.

This is not meant to be a pompous offer where we're up somewhere high looking down on you, but I've tuned into the last couple of these, and am a little bummed at how poor the viewership for it's been. I understand that you're casting these on your channel to help build it & your brand up, but I just wanted to make an offer: if you wanted help with some extra exposure for particular matches, as long as there's nothing on our plates we could offer help through casting on BaseTradeTV if you'd like. Just my attempt to help, if you're not up for it, then no sweat :-)

Thanks for the offer, but like you said, we are trying to build our channel and our product. We've had our ups and downs, but right now I have a lot of confidence in our production and casting team and we are going to continue to try to improve everything. Building a good brand is a gradual process, but I really feel we are on the right track, and the level of casting and production will only improve from here.
