This map is fine on the ladder, completely OK with that, but in a WCS system where players careers and lives depend on the success of this tournament, it has no fucking business being in the map pool. Especially in a bo3 format with no vetoes. At least put the map out on ladder for a season at least to test results. But this map is different in the shittiest way possible. There is absolutely nothing special about this map that allows people to look passed the shortcomings, it's just a wide open map with no personality, it's just different for the sake of being different without any redeeming qualities. The theme of the map is even boring as hell.

There is a difference between being different and just being plain bad... They can at least try to tweak it. Or do you want to see 1 base maps as well because that would be different too...
Im down for experimentation, it's more interesting even if you do get a couple of maps that are terrible. A veto system would probably fix everything though.

If I am not mistaken WCS NA and EU have 1 veto per player, but GSL is an exception...
So the problem comes from different rules for regions.

Ya well you would think the most prestigious event in Korea would be able to get a map pool that isn't completely retarded and imbalanced. There is completely no testing that goes on beforehand to see how the results turn out. Putting a map like this on ladder is completely fine, test it out first though before putting it into competition play where players careers and lives are at stake, especially in the WCS system where the cumulative points system counts from the very beginning. Same goes for Heavy Rain and the TvP matchup, it's extremely favored for Blink and shouldn't be in the WCS map pool.
