With video games you can make all those cool things instead of just the symbols. Also the random factor of drawing cards is always going to bother me. That's the whole point of heartstone, blizzard said themselves they were massive fans of card games when they were younger, and they wanted to bring the memories them and other kids had into a video game.

They need to region lock it though, how will the aspiring NA Pro Gamers make any money if Artosis is taking all the trophies?

Pylon was killed, but Dear re-established the pylon at the Xel'Naga tower as he prepared to begin his push. JD researched burrow and burrowed a ton of units on his creep to ambush Dear's army and kill sentries when Dear came to make his push (I can't remember if he left some roaches unburrowed to bait the army but I think he did). Then JD sprung the trap after Dear committed his units on top of the burrowed units and killed the sentries and a bunch of stalkers. Dear's remaining stalkers retreated to the Xel'Naga tower and pylon where they were surrounded and annihilated. It was while he was retreating his units after his army got smashed that Dear put his head in his hands, he knew it was over then.
