You must be thinking of wol. Ultras are really good in hots and are the win button now if you can get enough of them with protection. Ultras won the game yesterday for soulkey in a game and another game with zerg, can't remember which.

Nah, tempests are good. Oz just did not go full base trade. Hence he lost.
idk...Void Rays seem a lot better as long as there's no fungals. And Soulkey had no fungals, right? Although I guess he had queens, and transfuse is pretty gud.
It's really difficult for protoss defend against zerg runbys on open maps, it seems. Then again, players really build only the bare minimum of photon cannons.

Queens are pretty good. Especially with +3 armor against no attack. Void rays do like 6 DPS.
Oz put himself into a good position with that mining base, and then squandered it away when he abandoned the base for no discernible reason.... he had the highground and could have just waited i feel.

I think so. Tempests are better against mass static defense, which Soulkey didn't have.
