Why are the emps nice but the storms are ezmode? The ghosts just sit in a ball, the templar are spaced out coming from different angles - here's the answer no? I don't think it's an imba issue, but storm hit's clumped army (even if it's well spread storm still hits a lot) while emp hits a templar. And there's those 5 templars left.

Thats where the balance whine is coming from. I'm guessing you never watched BW then, because a perfectly placed spell (including storms) could absolutely swing a game that had looked unwinnable.

There is a reason why he has the most prize money of any player in SC2 history, surpassing even Mvp. I say that has more to do with Mvp's injury tough. Imagine if he was in form and played as much as MC, nobody would get close to him ![]()

Thats where the balance whine is coming from. Except the bio was all overstimmed and hadn't even healed before the start of the fight due to a low medivac count (MC constantly sniped them that game). Supply doesn't mean much when it's half hp T1 getting hit by T3 AoE.

If the units had more health, Hack could have minimized damage from them and won.

Lol no, that defense was crazy, he was down in supply by a huge number and he had amazing control of all his army. I don't think "any protoss could have pulled that off"

Thats where the balance whine is coming from. He clearly had those templar for a while and were holding them back, so he wasn't engaging with at least 50% of his most powerful AOE unit that was integral to his composition. So yes, you can equalize in the middle of the fight and it makes perfect sense. And he was like 40 supply down, not 20, with defender's advantage, with much of Hack's supply being taken up in production, with a huge chunk of Hack's army significantly damaged with low medivac count. Doesn't defy any logic whatsoever.

Mvp has, but MC has that charisma that really propels him with the fans. Mvp's ability to defy all odds and win puts him in the same lofty heights though.

Thats where the balance whine is coming from. Keep in mind that Hack had the option of retreating once he gained that large advantage, or at least moving back and reassessing his position. It was his choice to push further in with damaged units and knowing that MC had storm. He didn't have to close the game there but he took that risk anyway. I really don't see how anybody could complain about those storms.

Then it's just switches to fucking dumb mode at the end
