I find it amusing that jjakji and seed become champs and fall off but they maintain dedicated fans and people say they can comeback, sniper does the same and everyone hindsight shits on him.
Wait wait wait, do people not consider Genius to be a fan favourite? Times have changed man...
Genius beat jaedong and 5000 people who want to think they're cool BW veterans fanboy rage at him by bandwagoning onto jaedong.
You forgot the part where Protoss is stupid and all they can do is cheesy imba all-ins
Its not particulary about that they "can only do that", but these kind of things are just soo unforgiving, jaedong got unlucky with his scouting 2 times and then has no chance at all to defend there. I mean i dont understand how you can argue against the shit that is warpgate, have your new built army instant there where you need it is just fking ridiculous oftentimes.. Protoss is just a gamble race, thats the reason why they are so strong in bo1's and you almost never see really great agmes out of PvX matchups. And no i wont shut up or do something else, cause i enjoy every other matchup without protoss in it.
Do I have to keep doing this?
If you cant argue, just keep doing it. That doesnt make your points (lol) more valid. If you think genius did play better cause he got the pylons there and did manage to have fantastic voidray micro (lol²), then yeah. Its sad that that the tvt was by far the best match today, only cause every other match had a toss in it :/
TvT is the best match up in Sc2 period, it's the only match up I'll watch even if there are no players I care about, as long as it's high enough level.
And about Jaedong, look, I'm one of the biggest fanboys ever, but I'm not blind or stupid, and you'd have to be fucking crazy to think he had any real shot of wining this, or even make it out of the group. His play has been getting consistently worse the last few months, he looked shaky as hell in WCS NA, almost losing to Hack and then incomprehensible decision making and really poor reads cost him the series against Buyl. He
He just does not read the game anywhere near as well as needs to, in SC2 it's so incredibly easy to lose as zerg to a P or Z who just plays super aggressive, any I have seen nothing to suggest that he could make it through this murderer's row. I give him a decent shot at beating MMA, but it would surprise me greatly if he beats Hero or Genius. If they just do mixed all ins and weird cheeses every game, odds are it's going to work at least twice.
Take yer "Logic" and "Reason" elsewhere, being a blind and stupid fanboy is way more fun
Back when JD was making it to finals all the time but then fell just short, I really felt like he was close to a major breakthrough, like he was about to become the champion I so wanted him to be.
Now, he looks almost as lost and befuddled by the game as in WoL, he's not evolving, and at this point I have more or less come to terms with the idea that his best years are behind him and that he may never really become a world beater in SC2. I'm ok with that, I still value achievements in BW over pretty much anything else, but reality is what it is.

It's better to just always be cynical and depressed in life.

No one is constantly evolving. People have slumps. A few months of worsening results isn't indicative of anything, really.

What ???? Someone would be crazy to think Jaedong will pass this group ?? Lol that's one of the biggest joke I heard in my life :p
I guess time will tell. Trust me, there is not a person on this planet who wants to be proven wrong more than me right now.
