now if this becomes a thing
protoss will feel how terran feel in splitting vs banes or how terran or zerg feel in dodging storms Nerchio's been doing this for a few months now. When his Mutalisks get shut down he goes into hydra/bane/ling/corruptor
i've been watching sc2 nonstop for months .. how in the world did i not see this? T_T

protoss will feel how terran feel in splitting vs banes or how terran or zerg feel in dodging storms Splitting chargelots is WAY harder than splitting marines though, because marines do not run towards banelings if they attack. StarDust better return to his old 2-1 timing with immortal-sentry-chargelot IMO.
yeah i know .. also if zealot has charge it is way more harder .. i think against that kind of composition you should never make zealots and just mass stalkers and sentries

Zerg morphs banes as a reaction, not as plan.

Yeah you can never split zealots like stimmed marines but just a little bit of splitting of the zealots makes such a huge difference to the effectiveness of the banelings.

I ragequited like 3 times playing that level.

stardust loves zealot/phoenix aggression

Man, that small micro war was really cute. Who cares about defender's advantage, if lack of it gives such a beauty of a battle.
|
With standard pro micro, Nerchio had this game from the start IMO
First the roaches countered easily the zealot+stalker attack, even if his army cost was a bit lower.
Then he could force a cancel on the third whenever he wanted.
