The problem is, how many of those strengths were in the past? I won't even consider denying he was a great player. And he still is a good player. But imo with him being taken out last season in RO16 and this season in RO32 I think it is a bit of a stretch to think he would suddenly do great at blizzcon.
And both times were group stages. So not that he just had an issue vs one person, but he lost both times two series.

lag from korea is probably a pretty big reason for choosing scv pulls every game. Don't know. Would have to ask him.
And yes, SCV pulls strategies are popular for a few reasons. 1) top terrans win with them a lot and anything they do gets copied by other terrans for obvious reasons, and 2) it's really, really, really, really, really, really fucking hard to beat a Protoss by playing a passive defensive game while they do the same and have a much stronger army for it.

I'm not angry at showtime at all for anything. Why should I be? MVP is fucking MVP he has no excuses for losing, good on showtime.

Edited out balance whine: See, Mid-late game is pretty much the time when Showtime did his 3-3 max out push. Should i say that the best way to avoid dying to it is to kill toss before :D?

Well, to be fair. The whole match up has a big issue. The MSC was added so toss could be more aggressive (Protoss couldn't move out of their base in WoL due to threat of drops). But Protoss have actually been more defensive with the MSC and just tech'ed up. Show time played well but honestly, it wasn't like he was mixing up his play much. Get upgrade, colo, have obs covering the map and defend drops. The only reason that Mvp's push in game 2 work was that Mvp got the third when it was building so that delayed the Protoss enough to hit his timing.
He played very solid macro games... apart from the botched allin in the first series.
And people crying so much about TvP after that series - just think about the TvT MVP played against noname. Those were basically gifted to MVP as he was in both in bad spots and noname threw the games. MVP was far from playing his A-game, lag or no lag.
