Congrats to Grubby - he's a real role model for other progamers.

Did the definition of the word fact just change or did Mvp join code B in korea?

He's not in Code S for WCS EU (has to drop down to Challenger, which is apparently Code B?) for the Premier division.

There's always next season, plus I have the feeling that he might've cemented himself in the Grand Finals closer to the end of the year with his crazy WCS points stack.

Wrists probably have something to do with it. I really don't know why he hasn't gotten those dealt with. Is it the same thing as what happened to (SIIIIGH) Flash?

MVP have several different injuries, not only his wrist.
Iirc it's wrists, arm, neck and back problems that most of the time hurts and worse when playing.

IIRC he also didn't wanna get those dealt with because he may as well retire or something like that right? Something about not wanting to take all that time off.

He would have to take a year or so off and not practicing anything during that time so yeah he would drop down a lot, retirement would be a good choice if he did deal with it.

Would you reckon that he could take a year off after S3 and then come back for LOTV?

Ofc he could always come back but the effort and will that it would take as well as the time would be gigantic.
When you have won so much and not getting younger I know what I would chose to do.

On the other hand, he's not like NesTea or someone of that age, he's barely in his 20's. Heck, he's even younger than JaeDong.

How do we know MVP is "focusing" on his team ? it has been a long time since he played GSTL . Probably just being a practise partner for his teammates these days. Does that mean he "doesn't care" about winning WCS, "only focusing" on helping his team ?

Because grubby doesnt have "stacks of tournament winnings and trophies to comfort himself"? These guys always want to win.

Yeah, I don't buy that. Mvp is minted, he's also won it all, it's not a stretch of the imagination to conjecture that he doesn't have the same motivation for this game as he did in 2011.

Also Grubby DOES have the stacks of tournaments and trophies... a lot of people on this thread say that he was one of the best WC3 players ever...

I know, but I meant it as a motivation factor. Grubby's insane accomplishments in WC3 aren't letting him rest on his laurels in SC2, he's got something to prove in this game. That doesn't apply to Mvp though. I don't know why it's so ridiculous to suggest that this could mean more to Grubby than to Mvp.

We still have the Duck... and MC. As well as MMA... maybe one of them will be able to take it. I'd like to see an MC vs. Duckdeok finals.

So... who is the favorite to win WCS EU now? I am almost tempted to say Naniwa, if he can make it out of his group.

You have no idea...
Combined with sc2 + a rts game before sc2 Grubby is the King of Foreigner. Stephano is nothing compared to Grubby. Stephano "only" won 4 international sc2 tournaments and no in wc3. Grubby with >30 international tournaments wins in wc3.

MC's results didn't look too hot at ASUS ROG but I didn't see him play so idk what happened but he'll need to do better if he wants to compete for the title here

Same. Maybe he was channeling some InCa and blew all of his games. Or maybe he didn't and his opponents just played really well. Someone else will have to write that part of the history though.
