If you came up with a good comeback I would probably laugh at it as well. It's funny because it's ironic and has good comedic timing, not because it came from the player I happen to be cheering for. | ||

But if someone whines and you call them a whiner for example, that's not wrong, that's just telling the truth. I agree, calling him a douche or other names is also wrong, but calling someone out is not necessarily wrong. | ||

I mean sure we should not do it blindly or unfairly, but when someone says something that is clearly retarded I don't see a reason not to call it out in a LR thread. If a player can't handle that then they shouldn't act like Nerchio did, and should probably learn not to visit Internet discussion forums. I just can't follow Nerchio's reasoning. Snute did something effective 3 times in a row and Nerchio apparently knew it every time and had the option of mirroring or directly countering, yet he barely got 1 win and felt a need to bm over that one win. Maybe most progamers don't bother posting on TL, but the ones that do are generally treated well enough. For instance Scarlett often posts and I don't recall seeing her being insulted. | ||

The point is, I do that when he wins and he loses - with this playstyle he can lose to some random master zergs - who has macro good enough to mass roach as he does(and that happens) but also win the best in the world even if he practiced 10 times less than some korean would. // I guess all this comes out of the fact we all look at e-sports in a different way. For me winning is not the final goal but competition itself is and your reasoning is "well if it works, it's good". If so, then i agree. | ||
