Why is Korean in quotes and why shouldn't they cast in their language?
They should cast in Korean but use the english names

Have you never heard PLAGUUUUU?
that's only in broodwar, where there wasn't a korean version. sc2 has a korean translated version, and hence they cast using that.

He's got nothing on his brother in terms of embellishment. According to Tasteless, the group of death was the 4 best players in the world, and the finals was the best 2 players in the world, and now Soulkey is the best player in the world.
Group of death was Innovation, Life, Flash, Parting. Pretty good contention for 4 best players in the world at that time? Am I missing sarcasm here?
Missing Innovation being called "the best of all time" a few weeks later and now Soulkey being the best a week after that
You forgot that RorO was the best Zerg in the world in ro32.

Its not as exciting, I feel. stating "gun sol ro buh te" and "guh shin" doesnt have the same flow to it as saying colosseus and scv.
I don't know if you are aware but there was actually a pretty big controversy immediately after SC2 came out from Korean audience who were used to SC1 and said the exact same thing.

Is this coming from a native Korean speaker who is mostly immersed in Korean speaking culture? Or a person outside of Korea, mostly immersed in English speaking culture, who understands Korean? I'm curious because I don't understand Korean so I have no real context. My feeling is usually that I don't like it when cultures become "westernized".

To be frank, the translations to korean seemed kind of... lazy. Racecars and firebears, anyone?
