You know, I'm not trying to give TLO shit after he lost in this manner, but he shouldn't have said " he wanted to play mvp ". It's either foolish to underestimate him with preparation time, or extremely cocky to want to challenge yourself in that manner in the ro8 when he could have faced someone else and had a better chance to advance to the season finals. Maybe he was just trying to act tough since the draw wouldn't change no matter what he tweeted though.

If you don't believe you can beat anyone you got no business as a pro gamer. I liked TLO attitude

I agree, but he said " woo I wanted Mvp " or something along those lines, not that he was confident he could win, just seems foolish to me.

Well MVP is the greatest sc2 player ever. So if TLO wanted to win WCS EU he had to beat him! I don't think TLO was arrogant I just think he was very confident and in a good mental state.

I just hope this "spanking" wont shake him to much

That's certainly an overstatement. But MVP was definitely the best WOL player ever if "the best" was measured by achievements.

I don't see many ways to measure it that don't result in the conclusion being Mvp.

MC earned slightly more money, maybe that counts?

Yeah that's one of the few. Mvp will barely not beat MC if he wins this tournament, but at the current rate MC might be dethroned due to losing out on premier league, for the first time since Mvp's 4th GSL pushed him above MC for a short while.

If Mvp wins this 20k$ he also gets the 5k $ from regional finals so he's definitely surpassing MC.

IF he wins.

Ahh right, he instantly gets 5k for that, cool. Watch out MC!

If Mvp wins he will pass MC, due to the guaranteed money from the season finals. I believe It's 5k just for losing in the first round there

It might be amazing but not due to games.

The Korean WCS is many levels above European/American unfortunately, even with the Koreans competing here.

As amazing as the last time?

I'm the biggest Stephano fanboy and I'd go nuts if he won something big before he retires, but I don't believe he's got a snowball's chance in hell in Korea.

I can't say I'm surprised by the results, but they're still pretty exciting. Eu Zergs vs Korean Terrans, does it get any better?
I root for Euro Zergs, NA Protoss* and Korean Terrans. (Any North American who has beat a Korean Pro as Protoss counts as NA Toss)

So this is the story of Koreans abandoning skill and honor to go for easy money. Good for them.

They saw the "Stephano Strategy" as advantageous.

If Mvp wins he will pass MC, due to the guaranteed money from the season finals. I believe It's 5k just for losing in the first round there

ahh sniped

How much does the winner of the world champion get? Is it still 100K?

That's blizzcon

Damn, that grand prize is more than most peoples yearly salary lol I wonder how often MC calls the bank to check the balance on his account for satisfaction.

I'm sure MC has online banking ;o

Yeah, but it's more satisfactory to hear the automated voice system word out your balance in this particular situation lol
