Rain has an OSL which is a tournament of equal stature, Parting won the 2 biggest checks of the year and I believe the last one is considered a GSL (not sure how GSL counts its special events because its weird) and Squirtle should have a GSL with how he dominated MVP and if not for a few careless moments would have one. Edit: I think Parting may have actually lost the event after WCS.

And as HOTS is a pretty new game, it'll take some time before we see protoss shining.. Yeah totally makes sense, except Terran's dominated for vast stretches (even early on) in BW except for the Savior era. Protoss is more like BW protoss, they need a revolutionist.

Three weeks ago Flash & Life made terran and zerg look op, then PartinG came. sOs won this asian qualifier tournament so for a while he was the protoss hope... Mmmkay. This is just one GSL, people. Stomping your way to the finals is good, it is. You're just drawing so many conclusions. PartinG haven't madeprotoss look op since the wonwonwon days.

They've been pretty one sided. Soulkey is finding the smallest holes and using lings, roaches or hydras to put sOs behind in the midgame, and then finishing him off with Muta transitions.

Terran was not optimal during the reign of the six dragons and when that guy dominated afaik.

A bit back and forth untill SK made 14 mutas and just killed everything 2nd game: SK traded roaches/lings for sos's third, and then made 14 mutas and killed everything.

Nobody can deny that a good portion of Toss wins are derived from gimmicky play - that's why even when balance data says Toss win rates are good, you see them struggling to pull off big tournament wins (especially GSL, where there is so much preparation time at the later rounds).

I mean, you're the one with a variety of builds but why aren't you mixing it up like you did before?
