Yeah it was with respect to the level of play and the players back then. Back then July was still really good, HuK was the top foreigner, and TOP was a contender who would only lost to champions.

Well for one he's a round up on RorO, plays more intelligently and with greater diversity and this isn't WoL.
thought I wouldn't say MUCH better. Just better

No hard feelings for symbol tho, had Bomber seen the nydus in his main we'd blame Symbol that it was a dumb move now. He just did what he had to do to win (which is roachling busts =D)

Why do you say that when http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=402337 I mean right now he is. Yes, in the end of WoL, RorO was really good, but he was sloppy since the transition to the HOTS, and never recovered. He was losing to some players that he shouldn't ever lose as GSL champion. He barely managed to get pass YoDa in his group, when YoDa was playing disturbingly bad. On the other hand, since HOTS, Symbol is looking great, had great transition, has won against a lot of good and known players, basically he is looking better than ever. HOTS also supports his aggressive playstyle a lot more than WoL ever did.
Edit: Yes, "MUCH" was a bit of an exaggeration on my part, but he is still better imo.

Yeah I get what you mean - I would say his 2012 was on par (not taking into account his wrists) Puzzle, Ryung, Leenock, July, Naniwa, Parting, Squirtle

Soulkey vs. Parting really shouldn't be there, all others are really arguable. ;D Innovation vs Roro by far the worst. As many pointed out, Innovation made the hellbat drops look so unfair it was horrible games.

You mean to say Bomber didn't make tanks and just died? He made the Tanks in first 3 games, he won first game, but because of the Bunker defense he deflected the all-in, Tanks really didn't do much there, and then he dropped Symbol, destroyed the Spawning Pool, and Symbol had huge bank without enough units to defend from Bomber. Game 2 - Symbol went for Roach/Baneling timing, where both units had their speed upgrades, Bomber had only 2 Tanks, and didn't position them well, and lost the game. Game 3 - Symbol went for Nydus with Roaches and Queens, destroyed 2 Medivacs with Hellbats, lost just 2 Drones, used Nydus and won the game. Game 4 - Again the timed Roach/Baneling attack with speed upgrades, only this time he started Baneling speed a bit later, but Bomber didn't have any Tanks, just Mines that were mostly unburrowed. Bomber managed to survive that attack, but then died to the next few waves. Games were pretty one-sided and "bad".
Appreciate the quick recap. Thanks!

Yeah that list is also pretty deathly. S4 was also pretty deathly road by both Mvp and Life.
This does get me wondering about who had the easiest GSL win.

Just responding to an unfounded conclusion with an irrelevant assumption. Part of the fun.
We'll really never know because they've never faced each other so far in HoTS. Or am I wrong?

The all-in has been around since WoL where siege tanks even needed siege tech first.. It only works now because terrans have their openings focussed so much on getting biomine too quickly

Yeah they both had a solid path through! with the winner capping it largely by defeating the other.
NesTea's July one was relatively easy - though considering he did it without a loss, adds credit.

Expected outcomes. Btw, do you guy's think there is any way that you can consistently win straight up (no cheeses/gambles) against the TvZ of both Flash and Innovation? Or is there any thing/unit that can change the meta for zerg where they can fight cost efficiëntly against bio/mine whilst having the means to macro up and be able to defend drops? Imo only Sos can take him out now, although i regard Soulkey as the best zerg atm. Flash still beat Soulkey pretty convincingly 2-0.

Well, unless sOs wins his RO4 matches I don't see Innovation losing to a Zerg. Hell I don't see him losing to anything actually lol.
