Deserved loss He was not ahead. At pro-level, if you scout the proxy tech tree and don't overreact, you are ahead. Especially with 3 orbitals. You are pretty much triggering an all in with that kind of stuff. Taeja didn't prepare for it. Also he was pretty slow at getting his upgrades and medivacs and unit count, just to fit that 3rd CC in. I think 3 bunks, not getting slaughtered in the middle and stim, was well enough to hold the natural. Yep, but even if that happened he would still not have a third while sOs was saturating his. He was not behind. Not have a 3rd for a short period of time, the time it takes to medivacs to come out and have a decent army. With no colossus or templar, P deathball melts to bio, so that's why that is a timing. You hold, and just after that you take your 3rd. Even if the 3rd is delayed you go into the mid-game ahead. If you get a third behind the protoss, you are actually behind. The problem was Taeja going for a full econ build after triggering an all in. He did not have enough map presence to deny protoss third, neither to have one of his own (hell, he couldn't even have his natural). You are saying sOs was behind because of the oracle all in not happening, that's simply not true. He didn't build the oracles, but he got sentries and three bases when taeja just got his natural. If anyone was behind that game, was taeja.
I still think had he not died in the middle he was not behind at all. First, the fact that you proxy and cancel is enough to put you behind if your opponent doesn't overreact to the fake oracle. It's just a waste. Second, if he holds that attack, yeah, the third is delayed, but 3 fast orbitals mean that once you move to your third is basically saturated. Plus the bio ball, plus the medivacs. Until colossus and templars come into play you have a ton of time stop any attack or to attack yourself. IMO, the fact that your opponent warps in 2 rounds of units and doesn't kill you (or do sufficient damage) is enough to put you economically ahead. You should be 10+ workers ahead, plus a decent army to defend yourself without bunkers.

One more game Bomber! It sucks that mech has to be carried by good widowmine / hellbat drops edit: grammar
Well, mech is turtling at the start, so you have to do something to stop the zerg economy a bit
